- photoof the final radome, 36k, ( 75 mm UPONAL PVC tubing - no affiliation with UPO ! ) with the antenna prototype.
- this is what the prototype Alford slot, 11k, made by OH2KTB looks like.
- we had some problems at first as the slightly lossy tubing loaded, 12k, the slot off frequency.
- but by dropping the diameter down to 75 mm everything was OK except, 15k, for the lossiness of the tubing.
